So, it has been a while since I last posted.
I’d like to say the news dried up but then…well I would be lying.
I began posting my favourite articles as a way to ensure I was keeping up with everything marketing related. But, as time has gone by, it seems my liking for literature has grown. A Christmas-induced illusion maybe, but it seems that reading is no longer a matter of submission by literary headlock. So, in a way, the blog worked.
You’re probably thinking ‘yes, but that’s no reason to stop – after all you really were the shining light to my mornings’ (excuse the desperate attempt for an ego boost). But there is a hard truth coming your way – posting articles on a DAILY basis is not what it seems.
Come the evening, and after a long day of putting the world to rights, I need time to switch off. Staring into a screen in the search of news, pressured by the looming, albeit self-imposed blog submission deadline the following morning, is needlessly tiring.
So the Daily Articles cease now. May they not be forgotten.
But they say (or rather I say) that when something goes, something else must follow.
I enjoy having the outlet for which a blog provides, and so the blog will remain OPEN. But how often I post remains unknown.
With an extremely busy University term coming fast, plus additional endeavours in the development of Photoshop and HTML knowledge, the blog may well take a back seat.
As for the content, it may vary. Don’t worry, it will remain marketing based; I am not going to suddenly profess my love of bears or chocolate. Either way, I can assure you that what may follow will might be interesting.
